About the Catbird…

Catbird Cottage is situated on a secluded & picturesque country road. The setting affords views of the mystical spring lightning bug dance, starry skies on clear nights, autumn’s dazzling colors, and the bounty of fields and forests.

The Catbird sits beside a mossy meadow and woodlands and is filled with mid-century modern furnishings, vintage artifacts, and art made by family and friends. The hand-painted master suite is ideal for single travelers & couples. We use Coyuchi organic linens and herbally-derived body products.

When you book your stay, you may add a seasonal 3- or 4-course dinner feast, much of which is foraged, grown in the garden, or harvested from nearby growers. Please email us for details.

A stay at Catbird Cottage provides easy access to Stone Ridge, New Paltz, High Falls, Rosendale, Kingston, and Woodstock while enjoying the tranquility of sleeping in the woods.
